Position Information
The Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education (UE) Division engages students and instructors with resources that promote academic excellence, enable student success and enhance the undergraduate student experience.
The incumbent reports to the Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education, and provides leadership and guidance in designing and implementing evaluation studies related to undergraduate education student success, and coordinates assessment plans with senior administrators, campus committees, faculty, and staff. As part of these responsibilities, the Director will prioritize and complete research and evaluation requests, perform statistical reporting, write reports, manage course evaluations, facilitate the reporting of grant activities related to teaching improvement and assessment, and administer surveys in order to meet campus and organizational strategic goals. The Director trains faculty and staff on issues related to academic assessment, regional and professional accreditation processes, and best practices and tools for assessment.
