Department Custom Scope
Reporting to the Managing Director of Entrepreneurial Programs, the Blackstone LaunchPad, and Entrepreneurial Education Lead Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR) will be responsible for managing entrepreneurial education and programming initiatives for the Office of Technology Partnerships. The EIR will focus on planning and management of the Blackstone Launchpad Program and coordinate the delivery of entrepreneurial educational program to participants in other student participant programs as needed including the NSF I-Corps, and community and international-based programs. The EIR?s job involves student engagement, outreach, mentorship, and developing and delivering specialized entrepreneurial programs to UCR students, alumni, and other members of the local and international community. The selected Candidate will coordinate efforts with other existing OTP programs to network across campus and the community and will lead all activities on behalf of UCR associated with Blackstone LaunchPad Network. The incumbent will leverage UCR?s existing entrepreneurial programs and will contribute to their success through maximizing and student and faculty engagement and participation. The Lead EIR is a seasoned and energetic professional with start-up and entrepreneurial education experience who focuses on engagement, outreach, mentorship and throughput measures. This is a one-year contract position with the possibility of renewal contingent upon continued funding. |
