Department Custom Scope
As a member of the University of California Riverside (UCR) Information Technology Services (ITS) Project Management Office, this position will act as a Senior Technical Project Manager under the general direction of management and will utilize standard project and program management practices and tools. This position is responsible to steward the project/program delivery of a centralized scalable e-solution for the purposes of making an early residency determinations in the admissions process for purposes of assigning tuition for incoming undergraduate students to each of the nine undergraduate UC campuses. The UCR Project Manager will coordinate work efforts with the University of California Office of the President (UCOP) Project Manager and will provide weekly program status reports that outline all activities and project progress including - management of scope, maintenance and monitoring of the implementation plan and timelines, maintenance of the issue and risk registers and escalations for resolution, coordination of testing across Campus Stakeholders (nine campuses, UC Admissions, and UC ITS), provide for meeting logistics, and coordination of communication with UCOP and Campus Stakeholders. The UCR Project Manager will provide program/project oversight and utilize agile practices in the development of the: a. Overall Design b. Software, Hardware and Cloud Requirements c. Data Exchange that facilitates two options for campuses, webhook (preferred by UCR ITS) and a flat file d. Security e. Disaster Recovery f. Authentication, Identity and Access Management
