Position Information
UCR University Extension is the learner-centered continuing education division of the University of California, Riverside and offers a wide range of programs designed to meet the needs of local, regional and global students and employers.
The Senior Enrollment Advisor applies skills as an experienced admissions professional to assist Enrollment Advisors to help them achieve their goals, provide project management and leadership, manage leads and inquiries, and support process improvement and the development of outreach strategy for attracting and yielding students. The Senior Enrollment Advisor serves as part of a highly interactive group of regionally-based coaches who connect with prospective and current students and lifelong learners in order to quickly identify students' educational goals, interests and needs and serve as points of contact for questions related to programs and application/enrollment processes.
University Extension is a primarily remote working organization with staff who commute to campus for work as needed. Similarly, this remote position requires an incumbent with the ability to report for in-person work on campus as business needs dictate.
This position is designated as a Career Ladder recruitment, which means the department can recruit and fill this role at different levels within the position classification series. Therefore, this position is currently posted as a Senior Enrollment Advisor (Admissions Recruitment Specialist 3) Job Number 27177492 and Enrollment Advisor (Admissions Recruitment Specialist 2), Job Number 27177237 . Applicants are encouraged to review both positions and determine the best match to skills. All applicants will be assessed based on the minimum requirements for the recruitment for which they applied. If you wish to be considered in both pools or are unsure of which level to apply for, please apply to both positions. Multiple positions will be filled from this recruitment, and one of the positions will be designated to advise and support prospective and current students enrolled in teacher credential programs.
**As a condition of employment, you will be required to comply with the University of California SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) Vaccination Program Policy. All Covered Individuals under the policy must provide proof of Full Vaccination or, if applicable, submit a request for Exception (based on Medical Exemption, Disability, and/or Religious Objection) or Deferral (based on pregnancy) no later than the applicable deadline. For new University of California employees, the applicable deadline is eight weeks after their first date of employment. **
