Position Information

The AAPI Data project at the University of California, Riverside seeks a strong AAPI Data Research Analyst to join their team. Working in close coordination with the deputy director, co-directors, senior researchers, and senior research analyst, the AAPI Data Research Analyst is responsible for conducting research and data analysis for a variety of projects and initiatives. The incumbent is expected to demonstrate excellent research, data management, and project management skills, and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask, prioritize and meet deadlines are required. Preference will be given to applicants with prior experience working on issues that impact the Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander communities. The budgeted hiring range for this position is up to approximately $85,000, based on skills, training, and experiences. This position is eligible for hybrid or remote work. This is a contract position with an anticipated duration of two years with the possibility of continuation contingent upon funding. Work samples will be requested of all shortlisted candidates.

This position is designated as a ladder recruitment, which means the hiring department can recruit and fill this role at different levels within the position classification series. Therefore, this position is currently posted as an AAPI Data Research Analyst 2 (Research Data Analyst 2 / ID #28241521) and/or AAPI Senior Data Research Analyst 3 (Research Data Analyst 3 / ID #28817201).
