Position Information
The Evening Services Coordinator is responsible for the direct supervision of staff and the monitoring of student employees, the preparation and processing of library bills, and providing assistance and administering public service functions and transactions to patrons at a UCR Library Circulation/Reserve Desk. Will be responsible for opening or closing the library facility, monitoring all Circulation/Reserve Desk operations, coordinating and resolving emergency situations with Library Security Services, and overseeing and managing the functional operation of the library in the evenings and on Sundays. Must be able to work Sunday-Thursday 3:15pm-12:15am during the academic year. Hours may vary based on business needs, finals week, summer, and intersession periods. Must be able to work flexible hours for staffing in back up situations, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
This position is designated as a Mandated Reporter and will be required to complete trainings and comply with CANRA. Must pass FBI / Department of Justice background check.
