Human Resources Employee and Organizational Development (EOD) programs provide UC Riverside employees with learning opportunities to enhance skills, improve effectiveness, develop leadership capability, increase employee engagement, and prepare for career mobility. The Director of EOD Programs works in partnership with stakeholders and the HR leadership team to plan initiatives and curriculum which align with organizational priorities. This position is responsible for the design and implementation of employee development programs, organizational development concepts and workshops, facilitation of leadership development classes and learning experiences, and partnering with selected vendors to roll out programs. The ideal candidate has a general understanding of application of a learning management system. The position serves as the lead to the EOD team and as an advisor to campus constituents on organizational development, change management and effectiveness strategies.

Experience

Expert knowledge of training and delivery methodologies, organizational diagnosis and organization and business strategies.
Expert knowledge of functional area and expert understanding of how work impacts other areas in human resources and the organization.
Demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion, including knowledge of how to communicate effectively with diverse audiences, and of strategies for creating inclusive learning environments.
Demonstrated expertise in principles of organizational design and organizational and employee development.
Expert knowledge of training and development, performance and workplace learning. Ability to apply knowledge to achieve successful organizational outcomes.
Expert analytical skills to conduct analysis and develop recommendations, demonstrating organization and problem-solving skills.
Expert verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills and advanced presentation skills.
Expert project and program management skills.
Expert level skills to conduct needs assessment and program development and delivery.

Preferred Qualifications
