Position Information
The Academic Intervention & Tutorial Assistance Program Coordinator develops and manages the Academic Intervention (Al) and Tutorial Assistance (TAP) Programs. The Academic Intervention (Al) Program targets undergraduate students who are struggling academically, failing to make satisfactory academic progress, and/or would like to improve their academic performance. Program addresses both academic and non-academic barriers to student's success and utilizes peer mentors to support students in the program. The Tutorial Assistance (TAP) Program is a campus-wide program that provides tutorial academic support in specific subject areas. The Coordinator leads a team of undergraduate student employees in providing effective tutoring to UCR's undergraduate population. The Coordinator directly supervises tutors who provide expertise, experience, and encouragement to students using a variety of in-person and multimedia methods to assist in the problem-solving within the context of a course assignment. The Coordinator reports to one of the Academic Resource Center's Assistant Directors.
"The budgeted salary range for this position is up to $78,000.00.
