Custom Scope
Writes or edits a variety of comprehensive and difficult material for stylistic consistency, logic, organization, rational development of content, and emphasis. Researches, selects sources for and conducts interviews, and ensures accuracy of written pieces. Recommends content and layout, edits, and coordinates production of a variety of printed and online material, or conversion of printed pieces to online formats and archives.

Department Custom Scope
The incumbent is responsible for providing writing and editorial support and assistance to the Office of Strategic Communications. Incumbent will, under direction from the Director, provide writing and editorial and production support for Inside UCR, UCR Magazine and other campus publications and web sites as directed. Position will also assist in compilation of reports on publication management and metrics as directed.

Under limited supervision, researches, writes and / or edits material for a variety of publications for internal and external audiences, consulting with clients as necessary.
