Position is expected to raise gift dollar amounts as established at each fundraiser specialization. |
Department Custom Scope
Under the general direction of the Senior Director of Development, College of Humanities and Social Sciences, (CHASS) and in coordination with the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Development, the incumbent is responsible for planning, development and implementation of a comprehensive fundraising program that will result in the generation of private support including foundation and individual giving for the University with a focus on the College of Humanities and Social Sciences, (CHASS) The Associate Director is responsible for development initiatives aimed at growing a pipeline of leadership annual giving prospects, major gift fundraising and supporting the overall development efforts of the University. |

Work strategically with the Senior Director of Development and Assistant Vice Chancellor for Development to identify, cultivate, solicit and steward prospects/donors for gifts to meet established fundraising goals and objectives. Participates in short and long-range strategic planning. Work with centralized annual giving staff and the College development team to plan, monitor and evaluate an annual giving program to support the priorities of the College. Assist with development related University and College event planning and implementation. Attend University events and appropriate programs. Maintain donor data with the highest regard for confidentiality and detail using Raiser's Edge software. | 20 |
