Custom Scope
Uses advanced technical expertise, professional training and development concepts and organization objectives to resolve complex training issues and needs assessment initiatives. Works on highly complex performance and /or training issues, where analysis of situations requires an in-depth evaluation and understanding of organization strategies and business objectives. Exercises judgment in selecting methods and techniques for performance improvement. Serves as "lead" trainer and subject matter expert to develop training staff personnel.

Department Custom Scope
The Senior Training Coordinator leads an enterprise or system wide program or project. As an advanced professional who applies several years of experience in training & education, instructional design, and project management; the individual selects learning methods that will result in positive behavior change. The position creates cutting-edge interactive learning activities and multimedia content, establishes schedules for course development, and oversees production. As a leader, responsibilities include mentoring and guiding other training staff, campuses, and/or project team participants.

May oversee testing content and tools to meet ADA requirements, research and document copyright for embedded media and other non-faculty-created content. Test courses for functionality, design, and compliance with learning management systems.

Implements related business processes such as: Preparing reports and statistics, coordinating large, complex conferences / meetings / programs, preparing purchase orders, making travel arrangements, managing calendars, and updating and maintaining webpages
