Custom Scope
Uses professional equal employment opportunity concepts in conducting moderately complex equal employment opportunity analyses. Applies departmental policies and procedures to analyze the organization's affirmative action programs. Receives general work instructions on day-to-day assignments, with detailed instructions on new assignments.

Department Custom Scope
Under the supervision of the Director of Equal Employment and Affirmative Action, the EEO Generalist and Diversity Coordinator is responsible for a range of analytical duties in support of the Equal Employment and Affirmative Action function, focused on the development, planning, promotion, implementation and evaluation of diversity programming. Under supervision, the incumbent will develop diversity and inclusion related programs and workshops and is responsible for the creation and maintenance of diversity education materials. The position will also back up other staff responsible for coordination of EEO and affirmative action program activity such as shortlist review, data collection and coordination with external agencies.
