Custom Scope
Implements specific plans for fundraising and alumni relations programs and activities; or may plan, administer, and implement an established fundraising project or program of limited scope and complexity. Provides basic analysis of program trends and results; assists in developing materials; and coordinates work of support staff. Position is expected to raise gift dollar amounts as established at each specialization.

Department Custom Scope
Reporting directly to the Sr. Director of Development for UC Riverside's College of Engineering, the Development Coordinator provides support for the relationship building and fundraising efforts of the College. They will coordinate fundraising programs and events, work with front-line fundraising staff, faculty, students, volunteers and other university staff in establishing and maintaining relationships with all university constituencies and provide support to the College's development staff.

Implements established components for fundraising and alumni relations programs and activities; plans, administers, and implements a well-defined or established fundraising program requiring the exercise of limited discretion and judgment

Develops, compiles, and maintains reports on program activities and results, providing information on program trends and learning to provide basic analysis of data.

Prepares materials for specific fundraising activities and/or assists in promotional efforts such as writing, speaking, telephoning, et cetera, as required.

Assists in the organizing and implementation of special events. Handles special projects/assignments involving direct interaction with alumni volunteers and donors.

Responsible for maintaining Raisers Edge records. Ensure that all relevant information about donors and prospects is entered correctly. Generate regular reports (e.g. mailing lists, action items, and giving history).

Provide administrative support to the College's development staff. Responsibilities will include calendar management, event support, review and submission of expense reports, making travel arrangements, and preparation of materials for meetings.

Interact with contributors to the College of Engineering and assist in facilitating donor visits.
