Department Custom Scope
As part of the Global Engagement Office (GEO) at the University of California Riverside (UCR) Extension's International Education Programs (IEP), the Regional Director for New Markets is responsible for generating market intelligence, identifies and develops recruitment strategies for new markets, defines and meets country and region enrollment targets,implements conversion activity, investigates and develops potential new partners. Additionally, the Regional Director presents current and future recruitment activity to all levels of staff, manages the agent network for select countries and facilitates relationships with key stakeholders. The position is an integral part of executing IEPs strategic global vision and requires significant recruitment travel, project management, market research/reporting, intern supervision and strategy updates. This position reports to the Senior Director, Global Engagement Office with a dotted line to the Associate Dean of International Education. As UCR Extension is comprised of self-supporting programs dependent upon student enrollment, this position has a significant impact on International Education Programs revenue generation. As such, the position is a 2 year appointment, with the possibility of becoming a career appointment based on new students enrolled over the 2 years. |
