Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Position is expected to raise gift dollar amounts as established at each fundraiser specialization. |
Department Custom Scope
Under the general direction of the Sr. Director of Development, Graduate School of Education and in coordination with the Associate Vice Chancellor for Development, the incumbent is responsible for planning, development, and implementation of a comprehensive fundraising program that will result in the generation of private support including foundation and individual giving for the University with a focus on the UCR Library. The Associate Director will identify and manage a group of approximately 100 prospects and develop and execute long-and-short-term strategies to grow the philanthropic pipeline and secure major gifts ($25,000) and above. |

Work strategically with the Sr. Director of Development, Graduate School of Education, University Librarian, and Associate Vice Chancellor for Development to identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward prospects/donors for gifts to meet established fundraising goals and objectives. Participates in short and long-range strategic planning. Work with centralized annual giving staff to plan, monitor, and evaluate an annual giving program to support the priorities of the Library. Assist with development related University and Library event planning and implementation. Attend University events and appropriate programs. Maintain donor data with the highest regard for confidentiality and detail using Raiser's Edge software. | 20 |
