Department Custom Scope
Under the direction of the Director for the Center for Social Innovation (CSI), the External Affairs Associate supports the Center's charge to build external relationships, enhance the Center's brand and reputation, and generate support for the Center's mission. Major areas of focus and responsibility include community relations involving nonprofit organizations, state and local government institutions, corporate partners and business associations; public policy analysis; traditional and social media outreach; and program and event coordination. The Center for Social Innovation seeks to integrate researchers, community organizations, and civic stakeholders in collaborative projects and long-term partnerships that boost collective impact and serve the needs of marginalized communities and localities. |
