Department Custom Scope
The Labor Relations Specialist is responsible for representing the University at the negotiation of collective bargaining agreements, meet and confer sessions with union representatives regarding issues that arise pursuant to the University's collective bargaining agreements and contract administration and implementation. This position supports the Director of Labor Relations, and Labor Relations staff in the development and implementation of labor relations data analyses and data collection tools, reports, boilerplate and/or templates; participate in arbitration; provide analytical assistance to management at all levels of the grievance process; interpret collective bargaining agreements; research issues relevant to contract interpretation/administration; develop resources and training materials for campus management; and manage the processes and compliance activities associated with HEERA-required notices, information practices, and grievances. |
