Department Custom Scope
Develop functions, debug, update and maintain the following on-line systems and databases for the CCPP (Citrus Clonal Protection Program): Website, Budwood Distribution System, Variety Introduction System, and the Laboratory Information Management System.

Key Responsibilities

Description % Time
Installs, configures and supports operating systems, software, utilities and web-related tools for a facility or portion of facility of limited size. Applies and maintains basic security configurations.

Performs basic design, development, modification and debugging of software and scripts. Applies the basics of source code control techniques. Tests basic software to ensure proper operation and conformance to test plans.

Documents basic software and processes. Creates basic reports.

Provides computing and communications device support to clients. Troubleshoots and resolves basic issues. Implements software upgrades and sets up and manages user accounts. Performs daily backups and restores critical server and client files. Complies with service level agreements.
