Department Custom Scope
Provide primary financial analytical support for the Academic Personnel and Non-Academic Personnel service units for the College of Natural & Agricultural Sciences as well as secondary analytical support for the Dean's Office. In this role, you will report directly to and receive direction from the Dean's Office finance team. The finance team works closely with the personnel units to execute analyses related to salary increases, budgetary augmentations and complex payroll calculations. The successful candidate will have the ability to work collaboratively and contribute as a team member of both the finance and the personnel groups. This role requires the incumbent to perform high-level analyses and ad hoc reports in support of personnel and payroll operations. Must be fluent in the best practices for completing complex analyses including strong Excel skills coupled with the ability to manage & navigate large data sets utilizing a range of campus systems and analytic tools independently.

Examples include periodic financial reports, staff/faculty salary budgets, contracts, grants, gifts, endowments, or user fees. Financial and/or resource analysis could include budgetary analysis, financial analysis, forecasts, projections, staff or faculty salary or FTE analysis, student enrollment analysis, recharge or general rate analysis (parking rates, copier rates, capital project rates, student health charges) student fees (self-supporting programs, professional school fees, course material fees, etc.) contracts and grants analysis, endowment income, fungibility of funds, working capital, depreciation, new building funds, etc.
