Department Custom Scope
The Financial Wellness Program Manager creates and develops financial literacy programs to meet the needs of our students, working with many areas across campus; coordinates presentations and workshops for financial aid and financial literacy information to both on and off-campus to groups of students and prospective students; actively contributes to discussions and recommends changes to better meet the needs of the populations served; addresses needs of students from disadvantaged backgrounds by offering guidance and financial assistance when appropriate. Provide assistance with supplementary forms and explanations needed to meet individual circumstances. Composes correspondence to students and other clients relative to aid eligibility, policies and procedures. Participates in the ongoing development and enhancement of the UCR Financial Aid Office processing system (Banner); Performs special assignments and other duties as assigned by the Director of Financial Aid, Associate Director, or Assistant Director. |
