Department Custom Scope
The Information Technology Business Analyst will report to the Senior Program Manager, Infrastructure and Applications within the Portfolio Management Office of ITS and is responsible for analysis and definition of IT work requests. The Information Technology Business Analyst is responsible for bridging the gap between IT and business units. This team member must demonstrate good judgment in selecting tools, methods, and techniques working with the business and IT to identify solutions. Working with the business, they will apply business analysis techniques to define the business problem, gather business requirements, formulate appropriate process and IT solutions, and deliver recommendations for improvements. They will work with business partners to confirm scope and understanding of work priorities. The Information Technology Business Analyst will help formulate work plans and coordinate efforts on small to medium size projects. This team member will develop and foster positive working relationships between ITS and business units. |
