Recommends improvements/modifications to the program.

UC Riverside is a nationally-ranked and globally recognized public research university. As part of the University of California system, UCR is determined to establish a strong international presence through diversifying the campus and expanding international partnerships. Under the general supervision of the Assistant Provost for Strategic Initiatives & International Recruitment, the International Program Specialist will help manage UC Riverside's international programs and coordinate numerous aspects of program planning and implementation, including program structure, marketing and student outreach, and program evaluation. As an official representative of the University, the incumbent will enhance recruitment and yield events targeted at prospective and admitted students and is available to students, families, counselors, and the general public to interpret, enforce, and explain University policies and regulations. The incumbent is expected to conduct modest travel domestically and internationally to foster institutional relationships.

Plans, manages and implements events to enhance recruitment and yield, diversity initiative events, mentoring programs, electronic communications, and similar activities.
  • Designs and manages projects for short-term international programs. Develops and manages relationships with international education agencies for recruitment and special programs.

Collaborates in the international marketing and promotion to promote UCR's international programs to foreign guests, leaders, and prospective students and recruit students.

Produces special and annual reports, and program evaluations.
  • Designs and develops flyers, brochures, marketing materials, and electronic communication.
