Department Custom Scope
Reporting to Associate Director of Financial systems, this position will be required to handle the support and maintenance of the existing financial applications as well as remediating / refactoring them for moving to the new data center. This effort will require extensive programming knowledge of Oracle SQL, PLSQL - based and web - based applications as well as web programming methodologies in HTML, CSS and JavaScript, including version control. In doing so, this position will provide financial application on-call / as-needed technical support for both front-end and back-end applications. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, able to learn one's own as needed and collaborate with other team members and divisions within ITS, such as Networking, Systems and DBAs. This is considered to be "critical position" for UCR Business and Financial Systems (e.g., UCRFS / PeopleSoft, PPS, accounts payable, accounts receivable, purchasing, etc.).

Plans, designs, develop, modify, debugs, deploys and evaluates complex software for functional areas. Analyzes existing software or works to formulate logic for new complex systems and devises complex algorithms. Performs complex data analysis and tests/debugs complex software.
