Department Custom Scope
The Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders (AAPI) Data project at the University of California, Riverside seeks a Managing Director who works in close coordination with the co-directors, senior researchers, staff of AAPI Data, as well as partners that include community organizations, research centers, government agencies, private philanthropy, and news organizations. The Managing Director is responsible for coordinating operations, designing and implementing strategic plans that include fundraising, budgeting, and personnel allocation, and supervising the work of staff engaged in a variety of projects and initiatives. The Managing Director is expected to have excellent communication skills, including drafting reports, grant proposals, and press releases. The Managing Director is also expected to demonstrate excellent project management skills, possess a track record of overseeing multiple streams of work, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. A strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask, prioritize and meet deadlines are required. This is a two-year position, with renewal based on performance and the availability of additional funding. |
