Department Custom Scope
The purpose of this position is to help keep the Goel lab functional and organized. The ideal candidate will need to have expertise working with mice and have experience working in a neuroscience lab that uses rodent models. One position is available and will start in the Summer of 2022 (July) and continue for 1 year. This position is a 25% appointment (working approx 10 hours/week).

Key Responsibilities

Description % Time
The laboratory assistant will be responsible for placing and following up with orders for lab items, take care of routine inspections, maintaining and updating physical and digital records relating to trainings and inspections under the supervision of the Dr. Anubhuti Goel.

The laboratory assistant will be responsible for running mouse behavior experiments, and provide assistance with mouse colony maintenance. These responsibilities will be under the close supervision of the faculty lead (Dr. Anubhuti Goel) and will be done with support from Goel lab graduate students.
