Department Custom Scope
This incumbent will perform direct clinical psychological care to patients of all ages, such as diagnostic assessments, individual therapy, group therapy, crisis intervention, and related services to patients with varying disorders. Provide teaching and consultative services to other professionals and health care trainees such as medical students, residents, and other staff. May provide teaching and educational opportunities to families and other community agencies through workshops, classes, conference presentations and/or other formats. While this is a generalist position, there is opportunity to specialize in the field based on incumbent interest and needs of the UCR Health patient population. All the Psychologist's activities are performed within the limits of standards and ethical principles of the California Board of Psychology, as well as, applicable legal mandates for mental health professionals in the State of California. |
