Custom Scope
Independently oversees a comprehensive communications program for a unit or school with moderately complex communications requirements. The communications program usually includes written, visual, digital and electronic communications. Works with management to develop and execute organizational communication and market branding strategy. Designs and implements information campaigns. |
Department Custom Scope
Under the direction of the director of communications for the College of Natural & Agricultural Sciences (CNAS) at UC Riverside, this position will manage the day-to-day marketing, communications activities, and planning and execution of events for CNAS. This position is responsible for writing original communications content and producing print, web, visual, and digital content. Electronic publications for various internal and external audiences, including students, faculty, staff, alumni, parents, prospective/admitted students, the UCR campus community, and the public. As an integral part of the CNAS communications team, this position will work closely with the CNAS director of communications, CNAS digital communications manager, members of the CNAS Dean's Office, faculty, staff, and students across CNAS and UCR, and external campus partners. This position will also publish newsletters, design and produce marketing collateral, collect outreach and usage analytics, and assist in maintaining the CNAS website, social media, and event calendar. This position will collaborate with college and campus partners to support events. This position is eligible for a hybrid working environment of on campus and remote work. |
