Participates in administrative/research policy and program project planning and development.
  • Portfolio 1: Maintenance and tracking of Division manual/legislation and archiving. Maintenance of Academic Senate databases. Analysis and revision of policies and procedures.

Oversight and management of portfolio committee functions. Portfolio 1: Committee on Rules & Jurisdiction, Committee on Physical Resources Planning. Portfolio 2: Committee on Research, Committee on Library & Scholarly Communications, Committee on Memorial Resolutions, and Senate Award Committees. Support of ad hoc committees.

Gathers and assembles analytical and factual data on assigned problems and issues to prepare reports and/or analyses summarizing information on the assigned issues and commenting on other significance for internal or external constituents.

Prepares, edits and modifies documents including research reports, manuscripts, presentations and proposals.
  • Portfolio 2: Contributes to and transmits department communications.

Using subject matter knowledge, collects and prepares information for use in discussions, meetings of internal and external constituents.
  • Portfolio 1: Arranges Division meetings including agenda, materials, logistics.

Provides a variety of analytical duties in support of a function, research initiative, program and/or organizational unit.
  • Portfolio 2: General administrative analytical support and liaison handling daily office operations and serving as the focal point for incoming communications, purchasing, travel, scheduling for Academic Senate Leadership, Senate events, and updating office records.

Provides recommendations and guidelines involving programs/initiatives.
  • Portfolio 1: Handles Division elections. Supports and advises Division Secretary/Parliamentarian.
