Custom Scope
Independently oversees a comprehensive communications program for a unit or school with moderately complex communications requirements. The communications program usually includes written, visual, digital and electronic communications. Works with management to develop and execute organizational communication and market branding strategy. Designs and implements information campaigns. |
Department Custom Scope
The Communications Specialist is responsible for coordination and implementation of a comprehensive and strategic communication plan focused on creating a streamlined and seamless administrative experience for UCR's undergraduate student community. In partnership with University Communications, the incumbent is responsible for developing and maintaining audience specific content (inclusive of, but not limited to, students, staff, academic advisors, and faculty) and working with key campus departments to push information outward on critical topics related summer session, financial aid, the academic calendar, registration, and other areas that are important for students to understand in order to successfully navigate their academic journey and that align with the campus and organizational strategic plan and enrollment and retention goals. |
