Department Custom Scope
Under direct supervision of the Director, provide wide-ranging academic advising and holistic services to stop-out and other types of students seeking to complete a University of California (UC) undergraduate education. Applies professional concepts and provides prescriptive advice on academic policies and procedures for the University of California Reengagement Consortium (UCRC) degree-completion initiative. Receives assistance on more complex issues. Guides prospective and current UCRC students through pathway programs for re-admission or transfer to UC as well as other types of education such as certification. Assists the Associate Dean, Director, and others in planning and development of office policies and procedures designed to optimize the delivery of advising and academic support services to UCRC student population. Make decisions on academic pathways, late course actions and other matters of similar import for individual students. Works with Undergraduate Education, Office of the University Registrar, Undergraduate Admissions, Financial Aid, Student Business Services, Transfer, and other related student affairs offices to facilitate students through pathways to degree or certificate completion for students who stopped attending UC degree programs for various reasons or California residents with some college and no attainment. |
