Department Custom Scope
Provide support for planned events and alumni outreach programming jointly coordinated by Strategic Initiatives and Development. Assists in planning and organizing internal and external business related functions, symposiums, conferences, program events, banquets, and VIP briefings. Additionally, incumbent will provide increased capacity to identify and engage SOM alumni for future philanthropic support and advocacy.

Key Responsibilities

Description % Time
Under direct supervision, assists in implementing programs and/or communication strategies designed to inform alumni and other key constituencies of institutional programs, policies, practices, et cetera; constituencies may include the general public, prospective students, students, alumni, parents, donors, campus visitors, government officials' staff, et cetera.
  • Assists as assigned in planning and organizing internal and external business related functions, symposiums, conferences, program events, banquets, and VIP briefings. Assists in developing budgets for both on-site and off-site events and assists in coordinating other logistical event details such as parking / transportation, catering, etc. Maintains guest lists and coordinates mailing of invitations.
