Department Custom Scope
Reporting to the Associate Director, Programs, the Assistant Director, Competitive Sports will be responsible for the overall direction and management of the Competitive Sports Program portfolio which includes the Intramural Sports and the Club Sports programs. Responsibilities include, but not limited to program design, development and implementation, risk management, budget preparation and management, facilities usage coordination, staff training, leadership development, sports clinics, record keeping and marketing and promotion of the program. Responsible for staying on the leading edge of the industry standard and trends in order to offer the highest quality competitive sports program. Advise and guide Student Clubs under the Recreation Department with their practices, coaches, tournaments and travel following all university and National guidelines, policies, and procedures. |
