Department Custom Scope
The Lab Assistant 3 position will build and maintain collaborative recruitment relationships with mental health clinics, hospitals, schools, community centers, etc. The incumbent will participate fully in developmental research regarding testing children in behavioral, psychophysiological, and neuro imaging experiments. Responsibilities will include: assisting with recruiting and training undergraduate student RAs, assisting with study design, stimulus construction, audio and video editing, data management, statistical analysis, assisting the PI and research team with presentations at lab meetings and at developmental psychology conferences, and authorship on academic research articles. Additional duties will include: contributing to administrative tasks of the lab, such as managing IRB protocols and reviews, and ordering, and maintaining lab supplies to assure all research projects are executed properly. This position is a 1 year full-time appointment with a possibility of extension based on department needs and funding. The full salary range for the Lab Assistant 3 is $23.93 - $28.49 per hour. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs. |
