Custom Scope
Independently uses skills as an experienced organizational development and effectiveness professional with a full understanding of organizational consulting practices within medium to large, complex departments, divisions, schools and colleges to resolve a wide variety of organizational consulting issues and situations. Is proficient in identification and resolution of moderate to complex organizational issues. Works on strategic organizational consulting issues that are diverse in scope, where analysis of situations requires evaluation of various factors. Normally receives little instruction on planning, researching, and resolving organizational effectiveness issues, with general instructions and guidance provided on new assignments and/or more unique situations including strategic planning. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.

Department Custom Scope
Under the general supervision of the UCPath Technical Business Manager of the UCR Campus Support Center (CSC) and working closely with the Campus Support Center team, the UCPath Business Analyst is responsible for providing program, system and business analysis support. The incumbent must have excellent communication, presentation, documentation and problem solving skills. The role requires self-directed effort to engage with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs); Campus Stakeholders to elicit & validate information; work with SMEs to identify, define and document current/future state business processes and operational procedures. As well as facilitating the implementation of new business processes for the campus. The incumbent will engage in direct organizational training activities including participation in creation of training assets and training delivery of new and existing business/system processes. The role requires participation in organizational business systems administration and support activities.

Experience with shared service center practices and technologies. Preferred
Ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience in HR business analytics, PeopleSoft HCM implementation or other HCM/HRIS implementation. Preferred
4 - 7 years of related experience. Required
Business Analyst, HCM, and/or HRIS implementation experience in a higher education environment. Preferred
Business analyst or project management experience. Required

Translates new and existing business processes into detailed universally understood documentation and workflow mapping.
