Generic Scope
Oversees through subordinate managers a large department or multiple smaller units, OR manages a highly specialized technical function/team. Department Custom Scope
Under the general direction of the CHASS Assistant Dean of Student Success, the Director of Advising and Enrollment Management has primary responsibility for the management of undergraduate academic advising services in the College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences. Duties include, but are not limited to, supervision of academic advisor supervisors as well as the enrollment management supervisor; management and development of advising services; oversight over scheduling and enrollment related duties; and the interpretation, enforcement, and administration of UC, university, and college regulations, policies, and procedures. The Director provides advisement to the Assistant Dean of Student Success and Associate Dean of Student Affairs to ensure the college is actively planning and prepared to meet the requirements of growing enrollment and the needs of our students. The Director acts as a campus-wide resource for student advising related matters within the college, including the Registrar?s office, college partners, the Vice Provost and Dean for Undergraduate Education, and others. The full salary for this position is $87,300- $163,300 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs. |
