Generic Scope
| Provides direct supervision typically to professionals or skilled technical employees. Functions as advisor to unit and administration. Department Custom Scope
| Under the direction from the Associate Director of Network Engineering and Operations, the Network Engineering Manager provides leadership, technical oversight, planning and coordination of both data and voice projects. The Manager will be Involved in researching and providing strategic direction on the use of new technology and products. The incumbent will develop and maintain a hardware lifecycle replacement strategy in collaboration with the Associate Director. The Manager will provide mentoring, professional development and career advancement opportunities to direct reports and ensure that direct reports are contributing and performing effectively. Finally, the incumbent will oversee the architecture of next generation network design. |
