Manages projects of broad and diverse scope, size, impact, budget and / or project team size, with considerable impact to the organization. Projects may be passed off to the owners to implement and maintain. Requires level of expertise in project management such as project management certificate and / or quality improvement processes like Six Sigma or Lean or equivalent project management experience. |
Department Custom Scope
Under the direction of the CFAO for the UCR School of Medicine (SOM), the Project Manager will manage projects with a high degree of autonomy. They will be responsible for managing and overseeing projects from inception to implementation, for the Finance and Administration (F&A) unit, while ensuring they are completed timely and within budget. Additionally, they will be responsible for chairing or co-chair project meetings, in partnership with CFAO, administering all projects under the CFAO's purview, developing project plans, charters and timelines with clear deliverables. |
