Department Custom Scope
The Development and Marketing Coordinator, Gift Planning position executes and manages strategic marketing and communications efforts, including donor stewardship and engagement communication and events, for the Office of Gift Planning at UCR. Reporting to the Senior Director of Development, Gift Planning, the Coordinator will collaborate with campuswide development units and college representatives to design and deliver marketing content to educate and promote interest in planned gifts across all disciplines. Responsibilities also include donor pipeline growth through new lead generation, discovery, and qualification conversations with prospective donors; legacy donor stewardship and communication programming; management of legacy donor data sets and data upkeep at the direction of the Senior Director; strategic event management; and targeted prospecting using available donor insights to optimize marketing, communication, and stewardship efforts. Success will be measured against a series of established metrics based on team strategic goals and responsibilities for the year. Overall, the Office of Gift Planning will be positioned as a growth department with attention placed on increasing the number of legacy society donors, the number and value of deferred and outright planned gifts, interactions and engagement with current legacy society donors, and training opportunities for internal and external stakeholders in the area of charitable estate planning. |
