Position Purpose
As a member of the Recreation Programs/Student Recreation Center administrative and accounting team, the incumbent will provide purchasing and administrative support to its various programs and activities. |

Purchasing:
1. Process purchase orders in support of Recreation Programs and Activities. 2. Research vendors to determine best price for requested products and establish a vendor/contact list for recreational and facility equipment. 3. Resolve bill and payment issues with vendors. 4. Maintain office supply inventory and coordinates purchasing of all operational supplies. 5. Assist Department Travel Coordinator with research for the most cost effective travel pricing. 6. Assist Recreation Programmers in processing advance travel arrangements in accordance with trip/activity needs and university policies. 7. Maintain the department Equipment Inventory System. 8. Update inventory records as appropriate during the year. |

1. Attend all campus accounting, purchasing and other relevant clerical function meetings as directed.
2. Provide administrative support to the Recreation Director and RGB (Recreation Governing Board) which meets weekly. 3. Monitors and maintains good operating condition of copier, charge log and assesses cost to each program. 4. Provide support in printing, mailing and distribution of program promotional materials. 5. Co-supervise student assistant. |

Expected hiring range is $30,816-$36,180. |
