Position Purpose
Under the general direction of the Associate Vice Chancellor, Human Resources, this position directs and manages employee and labor relations programs for staff, in addition to labor relations programs for academic personnel at UC Riverside. Serves as a consultant to management on various employee and labor relations matters and oversees and administers collective bargaining agreements and grievance resolution processes. Provides guidance to campus managers and supervisors and Employee on all matters concerning employee relations, including performance management and corrective actions. This position serves a critical role in supporting the Human Resources' strategic objective to deliver progressive programs and services to build and sustain an engaged, diverse, and highly competent workforce. |
