To support research on juice adulteration

Must be able to weigh chemicals, dilute using volumetric glassware and adjust pH

Must be able to develop and utilize spreadsheets for tracking samples and results.

Prepare samples using centrifugation, pH adjustment

Catalog chemicals used in the lab.
Literature Searches 10
Conduct literature searches.

Minimum Requirements

Under general supervision, ability to work independently but also work well with others when needed.

Ability to read and follow directions, including laboratory protocols and laboratory safety documents.

Must be able to organize or develop a system to keep track of samples or data collected; must be able to enter data into an Excel spreadsheet.

Graduation from high school or General Education Diploma and one year of laboratory experience or two years of college including courses in the physical sciences; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to work safely in a chemistry laboratory environment.
