Position Purpose
The A. Gary Anderson Graduate School of Management (AGSM) at the University of California, Riverside offers a nationally-ranked MBA program that is also on the list of "10 Business Schools with the Most International Students". This AACSB-accredited school is one of the fastest growing business graduate schools in Southern California. We excel in developing brilliant minds that will lead dynamic, innovative businesses in the future. Our graduate school offers a full-time Masters of Business Administration (MBA), Flex MBA, Master of Professional Accounting (MPAc) and Master of Finance (MFin) programs. In addition, a PhD program, The Interdepartmental Graduate Program in Management, began in Fall 2011. The Student Affairs Officer II's primary areas of responsibility includes: provide information to prospective applicants; counsel applicants in person, via telephone and/or email on the admission process; process applications checking for complete files; assist in the evaluation of the graduate student applications and transcripts; planning & support for SoBA/AGSM graduates events which include recruiting events, information sessions, graduate programs orientation as well as other events. The Student Affairs Officer II will work closely with the entire Graduate Program(s) team to develop, implement and evaluate the marketing strategy, recruitment programs and admissions process for all graduate programs. |

1. Counsels applicants regarding admissions process including all documentation to support application; ensuring all documentation is gathered for admission process. Demonstrating knowledge of campus and department recruitments, policies and procedures. 2. Provide program information to prospective applicants, including information on admission process and requirements, course offerings and registration. 3. Acts as program's "Key Operator" for selected Client Relationship Management (CRM) software, serving as liaison between systems and program staff. 4. Revise and update communication plan in collaboration with program staff. 5. In collaboration with Director and Student Affairs Officer, evaluate Graduate Student applications and transcripts as required for admissions process. 6. Ensure confidentiality of records at all times. |
