Position Purpose
Under the direction of the Talent Acquisition Manager, support Human Resources' strategic objective to deliver progressive human resources programs to attract diverse and highly competent applicants. Work with Unit Heads in the implementation of these programs. Source, screen and present candidates and support diversity initiatives by cultivating relationships with agencies and institutions that will provide diverse, qualified applicants. Provide consultative services to Unit Heads on issues related to talent acquisition strategies, and employment regulatory and policy requirements. Develop staffing related communications and serve as Applicant Tracking System HR point of contact. |

Source, screen and present active and passive candidates utilizing social media, data mining techniques and recruitment strategies such as diversity partnerships and recruiting events. Assist with the development and implementation of candidate pipelining for commonly recruited for positions. Assist job seekers with inquiries and assist with monthly applicant sessions. Assist with recruitment related trainings and the onboarding process. Attend recruiting events and leverage other related talent networks to identify qualified and diverse candidates. Lead the development and dissemination of recruitment related communications. |

Provide recruitment strategies, best practices and employment consultative services to HR Professionals and Unit human resources. Provide policy interpretation and advice as a subject matter expert on employment related matters and compliance. Oversee and manage the preferential rehire process. |

Oversee the iRecruit applicant tracking system and function as the system expert. Develop user communications. Manage updates to the Employment SharePoint site. Work with contracted recruitment vendors providing tools for candidate selection and screening. |
