Position Purpose

The UCR Telefund Manager manages the day-to-day operations of the student call center of the UCR Telefund. S/he is responsible for establishing and implementing daily, monthly and annual fundraising strategies and goals developed in collaboration with the Director. S/he recruits, hires and trains and supervises student supervisors and callers.

With senior director of annual giving, establishes goals for all telemarketing efforts.

Develops yearly projects, segments and calling pools and works closely with Advancement Services to ensure data is correct and ready for loading into CampusCall.

Sets nightly, weekly, and monthly goals to maximize shift performance and prepares caller assignment; tracks caller statistics, utilizing calling pool and nightly statistics to maximize shift performance.

Monitors and analyzes individual shift and caller performance to analyze contact, pledge rate, average gift, and dollars raised on each constituency and determine appropriate corrective measures to meet financial goals for the program.

Produces daily, weekly and quarterly reports using CampusCall and Raiser's Edge.

Other duties as assigned.
Call Center and Staff Mangement 40
Responsible for the daily management of the Telefund calling center and is main point of contact for University Village building management company.

Maintains Telefund equipment and supplies in coordination with Annual Giving department.

Manages all aspects of caller recruitment, training and supervision of student callers and manages the day-to-day operations of the telefund program.

Provides on-going evaluation and motivation of student callers, monitoring the quality of caller contacts and attempts with prospects.

Plans and implements motivational programs, skill training and ongoing coaching for the student callers.

Maintains on-site and central personnel records regarding student calling staff and shares data (number of active employees, potential hiring needs) as necessary with University Advancement human relations department.
