Position Purpose
The initial appointment would be for one year, with the possibility to extend for an additional year based on performance and continued funding. The lab manager/research technician will work under the supervision of the PI to set up a new lab at UCR, and manage new and existing studies exploring how intersections of race, ethnicity, gender, and identity inform health and development for youth and young adults of color (e.g., Black/African American and Latinx/Hispanic). This is an excellent position for individuals who wish to pursue graduate work in developmental, social, and/or clinical psychology, as well as human development and family studies or education. If interested, they would also have an opportunity to co-author conference posters and/or publications that will be submitted to peer-reviewed scholarly journals. |

Dr. Aerika Brittian Loyd in the Department of Psychology at the University of California, Riverside is seeking a FT Research Technician (i.e., lab manager/coordinator) beginning September or October 2019.
