We are looking for an individual strong in requirements gathering, customer coordination, policy compliance, cost analysis, lifecycle management, configuration and documentation.

Minimum Requirements

Education or experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
1. 5+ years with IT project management experience, including all phases of project management and customer engagement.
2. 3+ years hands on experience with some aspect of IT operation (sys admin, developer, security analyst, business analyst, etc.)
3. Skilled to independently compose letters, memos, reports, and other written communication materials, for a variety of audiences, using correct spelling, grammar, punctuation, composition, text editing, and proofreading skills.
4. Skilled in troubleshooting issues, conceptualizing solutions, and evaluating evaluate the best course of action to take.
5. Skilled in expressing clear ideas through tact, diplomacy, and the appropriate and convincing use of language.
6. Experienced in working independently as well as in a team environment, manage time effectively, and utilize work and project plans to meet deadlines.
7. Skill in performing a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another of a different nature.
8. Skill in creating effective interpersonal relationships, gaining trust of colleagues and customers, maintaining peace in the face of hostility and resistance, and working effectively with changing demands and priorities.
9. Skill using, setting up and maintaining CoTS software and applications like, word processing/office tools, defect trackers, version control and content management systems, image capture, drawing/flow charting, development tools and diagnostic tools
10. Skill in creating a supportive work environment where new ideas are solicited, evaluated, and implemented.

Preferred Qualifications

1. PMP and/or CISSP certification.
2. Experience in a regulated environment, health care or life sciences preferred. And/or the understanding of data privacy and security issues related to FERPA, HIPAA, CMIA and/or PCI.
3. Skill in setting priorities that accurately reflects the relative importance of job responsibilities.
4. Superior communication skills that demonstrate tact and diplomacy with internal and external campus community including international visitors. This includes the ability to clearly and accurately express substance and nuance
5. Ability to invite information, constructive criticism, and cooperation from others.
6. Skill in maintaining equanimity in the face of resistance, indifference, or hostility.
7. Ability to work effectively in a strong service environment that is subject to constantly changing priorities.
8. Skill in reading and understanding scientific and technical documents such as scientific publications, legislative and regulatory documents, and complex instructional procedures.
9. Hands on skills in one or more of more technical areas: SQL or PL/SQL queries, .Net Development, Java Development, firewall management, log management, anti-malware management, FogBugz, Kiln, SharePoint, Perforce, requirements management systems, security frameworks (NIST, ISO, Sante Fe Group) and data warehousing.
