Position Information
To support research on juice adulteration
Minimum Requirements
1 Able to conduct literature searches.
2 Experience with Microsoft Excel and Word.
3 Under general supervision, ability to work independently but also work well with others when needed.
4 Ability to read and follow directions, including laboratory protocols and laboratory safety documents.
5 Must be able to organize or develop a system to keep track of samples or data collected; must be able to enter data into an Excel spreadsheet.
6 Graduation from high school or General Education Diploma and one year of laboratory experience or two years of college including courses in the physical sciences; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
7 Ability to work safely in a chemistry laboratory environment.

Preferred Qualifications
1 Solid mathematical skills (adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, percents, proportions, fractions, dilutions, metric-English conversions, scientific units.
2 Ability to make solutions and adjust pH using a pH meter.
3 Ability to weigh chemicals and perform quantitative transfer.
4 Prior laboratory experience.
