Position Information

The anticipated budgeted amount for this position is $100,000 - $110,000. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Annual Giving & Constituent Research & Development, the Director of Constituent Research & Development (CRD) provides strategic direction and management for the office of Constituent Research & Development. The research office has primary responsibility for providing in-depth background information on a wide variety of constituents for use by the Chancellor, Vice Chancellors, Deans, faculty, and the development department. Additional responsibilities include initiating proactive research, data mining, and analytics that will produce a pipeline of prospects for future qualification, cultivation, and solicitation, in support of UC Riverside. The incumbent is responsible for all aspects of the research office, including staff supervision, strategic direction, and planning for work products and workloads, human resources, resource acquisition (both independently and in coordination with others), and coordination with all offices using the services of the research office. This position is critical to the success of UC Riverside's overall fundraising efforts, providing services to the entire campus. By identifying, prioritizing, and focusing the efforts of Development staff on well-defined pools of prospects, the research office enables efficiency in fundraising and ensures philanthropic goals are met.
