Position Information

Budgeted amount for this position is $95,000- $110,000. Under the general direction of the Senior Director of Regional Development, the Director of Regional Development, Mountain States will play an important role in growing the overall donor base and building long-term strategic and resource capacity for the University's general fundraising efforts in the Mountain States (Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, New Mexico, Nevada, Utah, Wyoming). The Director of Regional Development will preferably reside in the greater Phoenix, AZ or the greater Denver/Boulder, CO areas. The incumbent will be responsible for qualifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding major gift donors and prospects ($25,000 and above). Additionally, the incumbent is also responsible for building a pipeline of major gift activity in their specific region, connecting alumni, donors, friends, volunteers, and other constituents to the efforts of the campus and to ultimately, increase individual gifts to campus-wide schools, departments, and programs. This is a three-year, renewable contract position that includes the same employee benefits afforded career employees. A cover letter is required.
