Position Information
International Education Programs (IEP) at the University of California, Riverside (UCR) Extension, has one of the largest and most successful international programs in the USA. Each year, IEP welcomes over 4,000 international students from over 40 countries. UCR has been offering high quality programs since 1975, including a multiple-level ESL program, academic pathways programs, concurrent enrollment, post-graduate diplomas/certificates, and custom designed programs for short-term groups of visiting students and professionals. As part of the Global Engagement Office (GEO) at the University of California Riverside (UCR) Extension's International Education Programs (IEP), the Regional Director for New Markets is responsible for meeting assigned country and region enrollment targets, implements conversion activity, develops existing partners, and investigates potential new partners. Additionally, the Regional Director presents current and future recruitment activity to all levels of staff, manages the agent network for select countries and facilitates relationships with key stakeholders. The position is an integral part of executing IEPs strategic vision for student recruitment, particularly in China, and requires significant recruitment travel; project management, research/reporting and strategy updates. This position reports to the Senior Director, Global Engagement Office with a dotted line to the Associate Dean of International Education.
